Best Friends Super Adoption in Houston

Come back soon for next Super Adoption date

What is a Super Adoption?

It's a cooperative effort in which shelters and rescue groups from across the Houston area come together in a free, fun atmosphere to find homes for hundreds of dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and more. The participating shelters and rescue groups are members of the Coalition to Save Houston's Pets or members of the Best Friends Network. Bring the whole family and dogs are welcome on secure leashes for meet and greets. Free adoption goody bags are given to all adopters!

Great location!

NRG Arena, Hall D
Please park in the Maroon lot. Free admission! NRG charges $12 for parking (cash only).

What to expect

Expect to have a lot of fun, and to meet hundreds of adorable, adoptable pets. Each participating rescue group and shelter at the event has its own adoption application, interview process and adoption fee structure. Adoption fees help cover costs such as spay/neuter, vaccinations and other medical needs. Please note that all participating shelters and many of the participating rescue groups offer same-day adoptions, but some groups require home checks as part of the application process. Potential adopters should come prepared with a valid form of identification and payment. If you're a renter, it's a good idea to have a letter from your landlord stating that you are allowed to have a pet.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter and vaccinations. Admission is FREE and adoption fees start at just $25.
