Best Friends locations
Visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary or one of our regional pet adoption centers
It all started in 1984 when we opened Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, to save our best friends. Today, the Sanctuary remains the heart of Best Friends, but our reach now extends to Best Friends Pet Adoption Centers across the nation.
In addition to the Sanctuary, there are Best Friends Pet Adoption Centers across the country, including in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, New York City, Houston, and Northwest Arkansas. We invite you to visit a location near you to adopt a pet, volunteer, and meet like-minded animal lovers. Together with animal lovers like you, we’re working to reduce the number of dogs and cats entering shelters and helping them find homes of their own.
