[CAMPAIGN ENDED] Ask your legislators to cosponsor HF 3149/SF 3213.

Well-behaved dogs and responsible pet owners shouldn't have to worry about homeowners insurance coverage. In reality, homeowners insurance companies can cancel coverage based solely on what a dog's breed appears to be, despite no scientific evidence behind a breed's tendency to bite.

House File 3149/Senate File 3213 would prohibit breed-restrictive insurance practices in Minnesota. This legislation would rightfully place emphasis on dog behavior rather than what the dog looks like.
