Improve animal shelters' access to donations! Support the BARK Act of 2025

New bipartisan federal legislation has been introduced that would boost donations of pet food and supplies to animal shelters, reducing food waste in the process.

House Resolution 3732/Senate Bill 1939, aka the BARK (Bring Animals Relief and Kibble) Act of 2025, creates protections for good-faith donors supplying pet food and supplies to animal shelters. This legislation will help both the donors and the shelters receiving the supplies they need.
