Improve shelter reporting and data transparency in California

California residents: Urge your state legislators to advance Assembly Bill 631!

The California Senate Committee on Business, Professions & Economic Development is considering new legislation that would increase data transparency across animal shelters and non-profit rescues.

Assembly Bill 631 would help standardize reporting and data practices to allow shelters and rescues to make more data-informed decisions that lead to cost-effective solutions.

This data reporting will provide community-based solutions to improve efforts to reduce euthanasia, resource allocation, and outcomes for animals in care.
