Saving lives in New York City
Best Friends in New York City is located in the heart of SoHo. We would love for you to come on in, meet the animals and learn more about how you can help save lives!
Last year, hundreds of thousands of loving dogs and cats were killed in shelters just because they didn’t have a safe place to call home — but you can change that and help out pets here in New York City.
Best Friends is leading the no-kill movement by running lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats, providing support and training for animal shelters and rescue groups, and mobilizing community members on behalf of pets in need across the country.
You can be part of that work, right here in New York City, including all five boroughs and the throughout the tri-state area by adopting, fostering and advocating. Working together, we'll make New York City and the entire country no-kill in 2025.
