Great news! The Massachusetts state legislature is considering lifesaving, bipartisan legislation that would prevent pet stores from selling puppies and kittens sourced from inhumane breeding mills.

If enacted, companion bills H.384 / S.230 will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and reduce killing in Massachusetts shelters.

And by shrinking the retail market for puppy-mill pets, there will be more opportunities for homeless dogs and cats to get adopted!
