Your kindness makes a difference for homeless pets
In 2021, about 355,000 dogs and cats were killed in shelters nationwide and here in Northwest Arkansas, just because they didn’t have a safe place to call home. You can help change that.

Whether you donate, volunteer your time, foster a pet in your home or advocate for animals here in Northwest Arkansas, you can make a lifesaving difference.

Opening in 2023, the Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Northwest Arkansas represents the future of animal sheltering and you can be a part of it.

It’s a first-of-its-kind, fully reimagined shelter that breaks the mold of the antiquated facilities of the last 150 years. Its design and operation reflect an understanding that our animal companions are an integral part of our families and our communities.

This will be a place where families can access services for their pets, and dogs and cats from shelters in need can get the care and help they need to find loving homes.
